Kirui Milton Kiprop

I am a writer and a political Strategist who works together with various youth groups within Kericho County for instance Inter-Party Youth Forum (IPYF) and Kericho Youth Bunge (KYB). In the recent past, I graduated as a political mentee with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) which is a German political foundation promoting democracy, good governance, rule of law and social market economy in Kenya. I am currently working with Imara Fellowship on matters policy making and implementation. I have 2-year experience working as a writer specifically proposal writing.

I am highly competent, team player, self-motivated information Scientist with excellent experience working as part of a team in a busy, multi-racial and cross-cultural environment. Well organized and proactive in providing timely, efficient and accurate ICT support to colleagues and proper records safety and easy retrieval. I perform my tasks with passion and committed to enhancing people’s well-being to promote self-reliance. I am skilled with records management skills and I look forward to better my experience in different organizations.

I graduated from Kenyatta University with a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science. I have full knowledge on cataloguing and classification of documents/records as I kept practising so often during campus since it was my hobby to do so. I am able to write reports, file them in an orderly manner for future easy retrieval, update them and ensure their safety.

I demonstrated leadership amongst students in campus in various fields. I supervised Kenyatta University students in various activities as I held a post of organizing secretary to Bureti students Association and Secretary General to Rift Valley students. I have certificate in Leadership course provided by Kenyatta University. Reading motivational newspapers and magazines, Internet socializing, Swimming and watching football are my hobbies.
