Kiprotich Cheruiyot

Cohort 1 Fellow

Kiprotich Cheruiyot is an Economist by profession and currently works with the County Government of Bomet. His work now focuses on plan and policy formulation. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Kenyatta University and is a CPA (K).

Before joining County Government, Mr. Kiprotich worked with USAID FIRM under County Support Program, and while there, actively participated in formulation of plans, policies; and data management. With the County Government, he participated in the formulation of Annual Development Plans, data management, Monitoring and Evaluation of projects and programmes; and was among the five-team secretariat appointed to formulate Bomet County Integrated Development Plan 2018-2022.  In 2017, courtesy of Centre for the Study of Adolescence (CSA), he was selected as a Youth Demographic Dividend Advocate to champion for the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Bomet County. In July 2018, he participated as a Research Assistant in Gender Data Survey conducted by the KNBS jointly with the support of UN Women and Council of Governors Kenya.
